The Top Ten Trends of Spring & Summer
1. Bright colors
Bright colors are going to be the biggest trend this year, and there are many ways to wear it. You can wear a vivid pair of flats, a bright fitted top, or the most common trend - a cardigan. Cardigans are offered in a range of colors and styles to fit your lifestyle and taste.
2. Metallic
Metallic is great this season for accessorizing. Featured in shoe fashion are metallic shoes in several different styles, anywhere from pumps to flats to sandals. If fancy shoes aren't your thing, another trend this season is metallic hobo bags as well as metallic wraps. Use it to spice up pale summer colors or add extra sizzle to summer jewel tones.
3. Floral print
Floral print is being seen a lot this season, and the best way to wear it is the popular floral print skirts and dresses. Try pairing a cute floral dress with a matching bright cardigan.
4. Fun and funky clutches
Clutches never go out of style. Although they are not ideal to use everyday, they are a great accessory for a night out. Try playing with a variety of styles and colors to “funk up” jeans, sun dresses, or suits.
5. Turquoise
This cool color is being featured in everything from dresses, simple v-neck tees, cardigans and jewelry. There are so many ways to wear this hot color, you can’t go wrong!
6. Bermuda shorts
Bermuda shorts are back. They are a great classic pant, keeping you cool in the summer while catering to the more modest souls. Pair with a t-shirt for a casual look, or toss on a blouse and jacket and flats with a metallic scarf for a bit of eclectic flair and fun.
7. Green clothing
You're seeing it everywhere – be green! How can the fashion industry go green? Environmental friendly clothing, of course! Many stores are now selling 100% organic cotton tee's with messages of “green.” Snag one to show the world you care.
8. Retro-cut dresses
Adorable retro-inspired style dresses are back! These go great with a bright colored cardigan and a cute metallic hobo bag, and with the right accessories, you can dress it up for dancing at night!
9. Sequined tops
Sequined tops are a fun and flirty to way to add some major “bling” to your wardrobe. They go great with leggings or a simple pair of jeans, or anything else metallic. Play with you makeup to create a 70’s retro ensemble.
10. Vintage tees
Vintage tee's came into style a few years ago and never went out. They're comfortable and fuss-free, which makes them great for weekend casual wear.
